The British based automaker Jaguar has announced its plans to introduce the all-new F-Type sports car at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show next week.
After it was officially presented to the public earlier this year, the all-new Jaguar F-Type is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker confirming its United States debut during the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show. The model which will be unveiled in the over-seas automotive event next week will be dressed in the “Black Pack” performance trim, but details on what this might contain haven’t been released yet.
The entry-level Jaguar F-Type will get a 340 HP 3.0 liter V6 engine under its hood, the F-Type S will get a 380 HP 3.0 liter V6 unit while the F-Type V8 S will be powered by a V8, producing a total output of 495 HP and 625 Nm of torque. The Jaguar F-Type V8 S can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 275 km/h. Prices in the UK for the new sports car will start at 58,500 GBP for the F-Type and will go up to 79,950 GBP for the F-Type V8 S. More details on the Jaguar F-Type will be announced at the L.A. Auto Show on November 28.
