The British based automaker Jaguar has recently announced the official unveil of the F-Type Coupe in September, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
With the new edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show coming in pretty fast, Jaguar is getting ready to pull the wraps off a new model, the solid roof version of the impressive F-Type. The announcement has been made by a company’s official who said that the F-Type Coupe will make its public debut in Frankfurt, on the 10th of September. The model in question has been tested already and it even leaked a couple of times, but the carmaker said that that was only the C-X16 Concept, only to change its mind again and finally admit that it’s the solid roof variant of the F-Type Roadster.
The final production version of the Jaguar F-Type Coupe will get muscular fenders, a stylish roof and a distinctive rear window. The model is said to cost more than the roadster, but this isn’t confirmed just yet. As for the engine lineup, the Jaguar F-Type Coupe will receive the 3.0 liter V6, with its 340 HP (250 kW), the 3.0L V6 supercharged with 380 HP (279 kW) and the 5.0 liter V8 supercharged, producing 495 HP (364 kW) will still be found on the model, along with a possible new 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder, with 240 HP (177 kW) and 340 Nm (251 lb-ft). More details on the model will be announced in Frankfurt.
