The British based automaker Jaguar is planning to introduce a Coupe version of the F-Type, which will be a direct rival for the iconic Porsche 911.
The Jaguar F-Type is expected to become an emblem for the carmaker and developing the sports car won’t stop here, because the company is planning to introduce a Coupe version of the model, which might be a direct rival for the Porsche 911. All possible options for the F-Type model line have been considered, according to the company’s global brand director, and this includes RS, Coupe, diesels, hybrids and AWD versions.
“Let’s put it this way: everything you could imagine we have imagined too”, as Adrian Hallmark said.
The next logic extension for the Jaguar F-Type is the Coupe, which will become the second body style of the model. Don’t act too surprised if you will see an all-wheel drive version of the F-Type, which will be offered for sale in cold climate markets like the United States or Europe. Allegedly the V6 engine has been developed with the AWD in mind. A hybrid version of the F-Type has also been hinted by Hallmark.
