The Jaguar F-Type Coupe has been recently revealed in some patent images, ahead of its official release date scheduled for 2014.
The British based automaker Jaguar has already announced its plans to introduce a solid roof version of the F-Type, which will be known as the Coupe, but until now, nobody outside the company really knew what the model will look like, but thanks to some patent images, we can get a first look into what the final production version of the sports car may look like, and, we must be honest, it looks so good that you want to put a stick through its exhaust system and eat it like an ice-cream.
The Jaguar F-Type Coupe revealed in the patent images posted below has been actually previewed by the C-X16 Concept and it’s adopting a stylish roof with a distinctive rear window, muscular fenders and a four-tailpipe exhaust system. The engine options which will make their way under the hood of the F-Type Coupe are expected to remain unchanged, so the 3.0 liter V6, with its 340 HP (250 kW), the 3.0L V6 supercharged with 380 HP (279 kW) and the 5.0 liter V8 supercharged, producing 495 HP (364 kW) will still be found on the model, along with a possible new 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder, with 240 HP (177 kW) and 340 Nm (251 lb-ft).
