The Jaguar F-Type is getting ready to be launched in Malaysia, where the model should make its way onto the market over the following weeks.
Jaguar is currently taking over the world with its F-Type and after it was launched on the Old Continent, in the United States and in other markets, the British based automaker is now getting ready to bring the new front-engined rear-wheel drive sports car to Malaysia. The Jaguar F-Type is already shown in the Asian country in Sisma Auto’s Jaguar Showroom in Pavilion, but this isn’t quite a real debut for the sports car.
The cheapest version of the Jaguar F-Type will become available to its future customers from RM888,888 in Malaysia, at RM988,888 for the mid-range F-Type S and it can go all the way up to RM1,098,888 for the top of the line F-Type V8 S. The entry-level Jaguar F-Type is coming with a 3.0 liter supercharged V6 engine under its hood, which is good for 340 HP and 332 lb-ft, enough for a 0 to 60 mph sprint in 5.1 seconds and a 161 mph top speed. This is followed by the F-Type V6 S mid-range, with its 3.6 L V6 with 380 HP, allowing a 0 to 60 mph sprint of 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 171 mph. The F-Type V8 S has a 5.0 L V8 with 495 and 460 lb-ft.
