The British based automaker Jaguar is planning to launch the new F-Type to India later on this year, in July.
The newest sports car in Jaguar’s lineup, the F-Type, is getting ready to make its way onto a whole new market, the Indian sub-continent, where the model is expected to arrive in July. The Jaguar F-Type is based on the aluminum monocoque structure which can be seen on the larger XK and the model is considered to be a rival for the Porsche 911 Cabrio, even if it’s way cheaper than the German sports car.
Rumors are saying that the Jaguar F-Type will arrive in India in two versions, with the supercharged V6 and with the supercharged V8, and its price list is expected to stand in the Rs. 1.3 to 1.5 crore. As a quick reminder, the model is usually available in three versions, the F-Type, the F-Type S and the F-Type V8, with the cheapest one getting a 3.0 liter engine, producing 340 HP and 332 lb-ft of torque. The F-Type S is getting the same engine, but with 380 HP, while the top of the line is powered by a 5.0 liter V8 engine, which is good for 495 HP and 460 Nm of torque.
