
After it was officially presented to the public for the first time during the 2012 Paris Motor Show in September, the Jaguar F-Type is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the British based automaker bringing it to Italy, where the sports car will be launched soon. The Jaguar F-Type is 447 cm long, 192 cm wide and 129 cm tall and it’s riding on a wheelbase of 262 m long. The model weighs 1,597 kg.
Power to the model’s cheapest version, the simply named F-Type, is being provided by a 3.0 liter V6 engine, producing 340 HP. The mid-range F-Type S is coming with the same 3.0 liter V6 unit under its hood, which is now producing 380 HP while the top of the line F-Type V8 S is getting a V8 engine under its hood, generating 495 HP and 625 Nm of torque. This version can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds before reaching a top speed of 275 km/h. In the United Kingdom, the Jaguar F-Type is priced from 58,500 GBP and it can go up to 79,950 GBP for the F-Type V8 S. No pricing details for the sports car have been announced in Italy.
