Jaguar F-Type might debut in L.A. image

Jaguar is planning to launch its new F-Type in the United States too and the sports car might make its debut over-seas during the upcoming 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show.

There is no official word on this subject for the moment but according to the guys at the 2013 Jaguar F-Type Roadster might make its United States debut at this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show, which will open its gates in November. As a quick reminder, the Jaguar F-Type has been officially presented to the public last week, during the Paris Motor Show, in a world premiere, and the model will be available in three versions, the F-Type, the F-Type S and the F-Type V8 S.

The entry-level Jaguar F-Type will get a 340 HP 3.0 liter V6 engine under its hood, the F-Type S will get a 380 HP 3.0 liter V6 unit while the F-Type V8 S will be powered by a V8, producing a total output of 495 HP and 625 Nm of torque. The Jaguar F-Type V8 S can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 275 km/h. Prices in the UK for the new sports car will start at 58,500 GBP for the F-Type and will go up to 79,950 GBP for the F-Type V8 S.
