Jaguar F-Type might debut in L.A. image

Jaguar is planning to launch its new F-Type in the United States too and the sports car might make its debut over-seas during the upcoming 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show.

There is no official word on this subject for the moment but according to the guys at Motor Authority, ask the 2013 Jaguar F-Type Roadster might make its United States debut at this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show, which will open its gates in November. As a quick reminder, the Jaguar F-Type has been officially presented to the public last week, during the Paris Motor Show, in a world premiere, and the model will be available in three versions, the F-Type, the F-Type S and the F-Type V8 S.

The entry-level Jaguar F-Type will get a 340 HP 3.0 liter V6 engine under its hood, the F-Type S will get a 380 HP 3.0 liter V6 unit while the F-Type V8 S will be powered by a V8, producing a total output of 495 HP and 625 Nm of torque. The Jaguar F-Type V8 S can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 275 km/h. Prices in the UK for the new sports car will start at 58,500 GBP for the F-Type and will go up to 79,950 GBP for the F-Type V8 S.
