The first renderings with the Jaguar F-Type RS have recently hit the web and they are providing us with a first look into a more potent version of the popular sports car.
Theophilus Chin has posted two more renderings of the so-called Jaguar F-Type RS, site which is an upcoming version of the roadster. The model in question has been inspired by the brand new Project 7 concept car and it has a more aggressive look than the standard vehicle. Jaguar will unveil such a version of the F-Type over the following years and this may be a first glimpse of what’s to come.
As a quick reminder, there the Jaguar Project 7 has been recently unveiled during the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The model was created in four months and it’s celebrating the company’s seven victories at Le Mans, order between 1951 and 1990. The Jaguar Project 7 is taking its power from a 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine, which is good for 550 HP (405 kW) and 680 Nm of torque (502 lb-ft), mated to an eight-speed Quickshift transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 5.2 seconds and top speed stands at 300 km/h (186 mph).
