Jaguar has currently received approximately 2, 000 pre-orders for its newest creation, the F-Type, even if deliveries for the sports car will start next year.
After it was officially presented to the public earlier this year and then launched in several markets across Europe and not only, the Jaguar F-Type is ending up in our news once again, this time with a rumor which is saying that approximately 2,000 pre-order have been placed for the new sports car. This is quite a substantial number considering the fact that Jaguar is planning to sell 6,000 – 7,000 units of the F-Type in 2013 and the largest market for the model is considered to be the United States.
Jaguar says that the F-Type will get three versions, the F-Type, which will be powered by a 3.0 liter V6 engine producing 340 HP, the F-Type S, with a 3.0 liter V6 generating 380 HP and the top of the line F-Type V8 S, with a V8 engine developing 495 HP and 625 Nm of torque. The Jaguar F-Type V8 S can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 275 km/h. Prices for the model will start at 58,500 GBP for the F-Type and will go up to 79,950 pounds for the most powerful version.
