In order to allow the company to maximize the future growth opportunities for the Group, the Indian owned British manufacturer announced new Executive Management changes.
Executive Committee roles would be revised in order to reflect the recent international sales growth and increased operational prowess of the UK-based manufacturer. Jaguar Land Rover will move to set up a unified marketing and sales command structure for both brands.
Dr Ralf Speth, Chief Executive Officer, said:”This reorganisation represents a natural evolution of our management team, designed to sharpen our relentless focus on customer first. It is the next phase in our development, mirroring the recent changes we made to product creation and delivery, and bringing together the strategy and processes supporting the brands.”
Phil Popham, currently Director Group Sales Operations, will be moved to Group Marketing Director Jaguar Land Rover. He will be responsible for all global marketing activity on both the Jaguar and Land Rover brands. Andy Goss, currently President JLR North America, is moved to Group Sales Operations Director with responsibility for global sales and customer service. Adrian Hallmark, currently Global Brand Director for Jaguar, is appointed to the new role of Group Strategy Director. John Edwards, now Global Brand Director for Land Rover, will have an unannounced new role in the senior management team.
Also, Dr Wolfram Liedtke, currently Director Quality and Automotive Safety, will be retiring from the company, being succeeded by Grant McPherson, currently Operations Director at the Castle Bromwich manufacturing plant.
