Jaguar is currently working on a facelifted version of the XJ flagship sedan which will be hitting the market sometimes next year with some design updates.
The British based automaker Jaguar is planning to introduce an updated version of the XJ. The flagship sedan should go on sale sometimes next year and it has the tough job of battling against the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class generation, the facelifted BMW 7-Series or the updated Audi A8. The revised version should be getting an updated design, with a smaller front grille, larger air intakes, a redesigned bumper, slightly updates made to the headlights and taillights and some other tweaks.
The 2016 Jaguar XJ will be getting some updates to its current engine lineup and even if it will be unveiled next year, the model in question will not be using the new Jaguar Land Rover units. The four-cylinder 2.0 liter with it 240 HP will be saved on the model but it will be slightly revised. The cabin of the updated XJ will probably remain the same, except for some minor updates, which won’t be quite as noticeable as the ones made on its exterior design. More details on the facelifted Jaguar XJ will be announced close to its launch.
