Jaguar is currently promoting its new entry-level sedan with the help of a camouflaged BMW 3-Series in Germany, where its main competitors “live”.
In case you haven’t heard before, Jaguar is currently developing and tweaking a direct rival for models such as the BMW 3-Series, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class and the Audi A4, amongst others, which has been already caught on camera by our spy photographers and which will be named the XE. This is no surprise so far but comes from the unexpected zone is the way that Jaguar has decided to promote it, by using a camouflaged BMW 3-Series.
The images posted below have been provided by Bimmer Today and they are revealing the ingenious method of announcing the imminent arrival of the new Jaguar XE sedan with this camouflaged BMW 3-Series. The new XE will have a new platform and some styling inspired by its larger brothers, the XF and the XJ. As far as the engine lineup goes, this will include some new four-cylinder units and also a V8 which will power the top of the line version of the model, becoming a rival of the M3. The new Jaguar XE will be unveiled on the 8th of September and it will be making its public debut probably in Paris, one month later.
