The British automaker has decided to be proud of its bloodline now that it belongs to an Indian company and has unveiled the F-Type British Design Edition special series.
The limited production F-Type British Design Edition has been based off the regular F-Type S Coupe and Convertible, with British Design Edition badges and wearing 20-inch Cyclone-style alloys with a bespoke Satin Grey glazing. The model can also be had with a modified color range such as Caldera Red, Glacier White, Ultra Blue, and Ultimate Black. The modifications of the exterior wrap up with a Sport Design package offered as standard that comes nicely fitted with agloss black front splitter, wider side skirts, a drag reducing rear bumper venturi and the Super Performance Brake system with red calipers.
Inside the cabin the F-Type British Design Edition is adorned with contrast stitching, carbon fiber finish elements, or the 14-way adjustable sport seats with British Design Edition embossments. The owner will also get treated to a10- or 12-speaker Meridian audio system, stainless steel plates and special badging on the center stack. Under the hood sits the unmodified supercharged 3.0-liter V6 mill churning out 380 horsepower and 339 pound-feet of torque, mated to a six-speed manual or an eight-speed Quickshift auto gearbox and the latter can also be had with the optional all-wheel drive system. Pricing has not been revealed yet as the automaker has decided to wait out the winter before releasing the new F-Type British Design Edition into dealer showrooms.
