The British based automaker Jaguar has recently released more images with the C-X75 prototype, which was supposed to enter a limited production.
After being officially presented to the public a few years ago, the Jaguar C-X75 prototype is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of some images, which were released by the company. The Jaguar C-X75 should have entered a limited production but the carmaker has changed its mind in the last minute and just a few months ago, the company said that the model won’t get the green lights because of the global austerity measures.
The Jaguar C-X75 prototype is powered by a 1.6 liter twin-charged engine, which is producing a total output of 500 HP (372 kW), helped by two electric motors which are providing an extra 390 HP (290 kW). The total output stands at 850 HP (633 kW), which is enough to allow the model to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in less than 3 seconds and from 0 to 100 mph (160 km/h) in less than 6 seconds. Top speed stands at 220 mph (354 km/h). The Jaguar C-X75 should have been a rival for the Ferrari LaFerrari, the McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918 Spyder.
