The British automaker is now firmly looking towards the crossover segment – with the F-Pace already out and the E and I-Pace just around the corner.
Actually, the brand’s E-Pace seems to be even closer than that – as the company has recently revealed it will be introduced early 2018 as their second-ever crossover. It’s coming in below the F-Pace both in terms of size and price, kicking off at $38,600 in America, which is no less than $3,500 below an F-Pace. And considering the latter has outsold in its first year of sales every other Jaguar line, we’re pretty sure the E-Pace is a sure success. This lonely teaser image has been accompanied by a few details – aside from the arrival date of early next year, the model “features standard all-wheel drive technology and an all-Ingenium line-up of petrol engines, as well as a suite of connected technology and convenience features.”
Jaguar’s design director, Ian Callum, adds “the combination of sports car looks with Jaguar performance will ensure that the E-Pace stands out.” The size seems to be in tone with the I-Pace concept that premiered in Los Angeles last year. We’re not going to have to wait long for the full scoop on the 2018 Jaguar E-Pace – the model is going to be revealed on Thursday, July 13.
