A new rendering is showing us a future possible model coming from Jaguar, a compact hatchback, called the XD.
Jaguar is on a roll these days and after introducing the impressive F-Type or the XE, the rival for the BMW 3-Series, Audi A4, Mercedes-Benz C-Class or Cadillac ATS, and with the F-Pace in the works, the company’s first SUV, time has come to talk about yet another brand new model, which is a simple idea at the moment. The image posted above is showing us how the vehicle may look like if it will be getting the green light and it has been named, for the moment, the XD.
The all-new model will be offered as a competitor for the BMW 1-Series, for the Audi A3 Sportback or for the Mercedes-Benz A-Class, if it will be green lighted, and it will probably share some of the components and engines with its larger brother, the XE. Keep in mind that Jaguar hasn’t confirmed such a model at the time and we may never get to see it, but if a decision on introducing a premium hatchback will be made, than chances are the vehicle will be very similar to the one in this rendering. We can notice the similar front fascia which seems inspired from XE and the instantly recognizable taillights, along with the appealing design which has a good chance of making it one popular ride. More details on the subject are limited at this time.
