Jaguar has officially announced the full pricing details of the XE in Australia.
According to the car manufacturer, the Jaguar XE is being offered in four versions, the Prestige, the R-Sport, the Portfolio 25t and the S V6. The cheapest version of the model, the 20t Prestige, is being offered from 60,400 AUD, being followed by the 20d at 62,800 AUD and the 25t at 64,900 AUD. The R-Sport range kicks off at 65,400 AUD for the 20t and it is followed by the 20d at 66,800 AUD and the 25t at 68,900 AUD. The Portfolio 25t can be yours from 70,400 AUD and for the range-topping S V6, customers will have to pay 104,200 AUD.
The engine lineup is made out of the 2.0l turbo petrol unit, in the 20t, rated at 147 kW and 280 Nm of torque. The 25t is following it, producing 177 kW and 340 Nm of torque, while the Ingenium 20d 2.0l turbo diesel is rated at 132 kW and 430 Nm of torque. The range-topping engine is the 3.0 liter supercharged V6, producing 250 kW and 450 Nm of torque, which is allowing the midsize sedan to reach 100 km/h in 5.1s. All versions are equipped with the 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters as standard. Features found across the range include the tire pressure monitoring, front and rear parking sensors with rear camera, automatic park assist, blind spot monitor, lane departure warning, keyless start and keyless entry, bi-function HID Xenon automatic headlights, 380W Meridian sound system, Taurus leather seats, dual-zone climate control and so on.
