The recently unveiled Jaguar XE is getting ready to be introduced onto its home market, as the model in question will be arriving in the company’s dealers in May. Prices for it will begin from 26, 995 GBP and for the money you will be getting the SE version, which is followed by the Prestige, Portfolio, R-Sport and S. The carmaker is stating that the SE and the Prestige are only getting the diesel and base petrol engine under their hoods, while the Portfolio will be adding the 2.0L 237 HP petrol and the diesels too.
Standard kit found on the BMW 3-Series / Audi A4 / Mercedes-Benz C-Class rival includes the AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking), the Lane Departure warning, the DAB radio, cruise control, satellite navigation system and 17-inch alloy wheels. The entry-level Jaguar XE SE is packing in a 2.0i 200 PS unit which his helping it reach 60 mph in 7.1 seconds and a top speed of 147 mph. Other units available for the model include the 2.0d with 180 PS, the 2.0i with 240 PS and the range topping 3.0 producing 340 PS.
