A new rendering of the upcoming Jaguar XE has recently hit the web and it can provide us with a new look into what the final production of the model may be like.
The development of the Jaguar XE is no longer a surprise for anyone who is into cars as the model in question has been spied numerous times while it was being tested and it has been even confirmed for production by the British based automaker. The model in question will be the smallest sedan in the company’s lineup and it will become a direct rival to models such as the BMW 3-Series, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class or the Audi A4.
The upcoming Jaguar XE has a compact body, a rectangular front grille, a dramatic roof line, large side mirrors and it will be riding on the iQ[AI] platform, once it will become available. The model in question will also get a more compact body with shorter front and rear overhangs in order to compete with the vehicles mentioned above. Chances are that the engine lineup will include a very frugal variant along with a version which will allow it to reach a top speed of 300 km/h, a possible rival for the M3, C63 AMG and RS4. More details on the model are limited for the moment.
