The British automaker has played all its cards close to its heart, but the preying eyes of the espionage branch of the automotive world has done it yet again: the XE S has been fully revealed while airlifted towards the launch location in London.
Just hours away from the planned public debut of the latest Jaguar model – scheduled at 19.15 PM British standard time – the spy photographers at Dutch publication Auto Week managed to snatch some pretty good shots with the XE S airlifted by a helicopter and en-route to the launch location.
In a rather odd turn of events, the blurry (most likely because of the distance, not image quality issues) shots depict the model in its entire splendor – a mishap from Jaguar, which should have transported the car with a cover on or some sort of camouflage. But then again, maybe the shots were “accidentally leaked” or the location tipped by non other than the automaker to secure some last-minute hype for the global launch – one that should be packed with celebrities and having Emeli Sande reveal her exclusive Feel XE song.
The new Jaguar XE is the British automaker’s smallest sedan offering, with engines on offer that can make it one of the more economical premium offerings or a true sports car with a top speed in excess of 186 mph (300 km/h).
