Jaguar XER-S gets rendered image

The first rendering with the upcoming Jaguar XER-S has recently hit the web and it might provide us with a look into the upcoming performance sedan.

The development of the Jaguar XE entry-level sedan is no longer a surprise for anyone who is reading the automotive news every once in a while as the model in question has been officially unveiled earlier this month, but with the model in question competing with vehicles such as the BMW 3-Series, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class or the Audi A4, the question on everyone’s lips was whether the company will develop a rival for the M4, C63 AMG and RS4.

The answer to this question is probably “yes” but since we don’t have a clue on what it will be like once it will be hitting the market, Theophilus Chin has worked some magic once again and managed to create a rendering of the upcoming model. This has been named, of course, the XER-S and it will be R-S version of the newly unveiled sedan. We are not sure what engine this will be using but the current XE S is coming with 340 HP (250 kW) and 450 Nm (331 lb-ft) of torque from a 3.0L V6 engine.
