The British based automaker Jaguar has recently announced its plans to debut the XFR-S during the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show, later on this month.
The wildest version of the company’s mid-size sedan, the Jaguar XFR-S, will be officially presented to the public during the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show, on the 28th of November, as the carmaker has recently announced. The model will be joined by the U.S. premiere of the F-Type sports car, which will be brought to the country in its Black Pack performance trim for the first time. The 2013 Range Rover will also make its way to the North American automotive event, on the 28th of November.
“The new Jaguar F-TYPE, Jaguar XFR-S and all new Range Rover will all make a major impact, specifically in the United States, which will be the world’s largest market for all three vehicles”, said Andy Goss, the Jaguar Land Rover North America president.
No additional details on the Jaguar XFR-S have been announced yet but rumors are saying that the model will get a modified 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine under its hood, which should produce a total output of 540 HP, 40 HP more than the regular XFR. The model will also get an aggressive body kit. Additional details on the Jaguar XFR-S will be announced during the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show.
