Our spy photographers have managed to catch a facelifted version of the Jaguar XJ on camera, in south European mountains, where the model was quietly sitting around in a parking lot.
The new generation of the Jaguar XJ, which is also being known as the X351, has been in production since 2009, and in order to give it a new look, which should be enough to satisfy the needs of new customers until a future generation will pop onto the market, the British based automaker has updated it for this model year. the vehicle in question has received modified front and rear bumpers, a new front grille and probably some additional tweaks to the interior design. The engine lineup is believed to be carried over.
The Jaguar XJ is currently being assembled in Birmingham, UK, and it’s being offered in a four-door body style. The model stands at 5,123 mm long (5,248 mm LWB), 1,895 mm wide and 1,448 mm tall, weighing up to 1,892 kg for the supercharged version. And speaking of supercharged versions this is packing a 5.0L V8 supercharged unit, with 510 PS. Other units available include the 385 PS 5.0L V8, the 3.0L 340 PS V6 supercharged, the 2.0L with 240 PS and the 3.0L V6 diesel.
