The little known Jannarelly has decided to provide more details concerning its upcoming first ever model that should reach its intended customers sometimes during the summer this year.
The automaker is a newly formed one and delivered the first introduction to its upcoming production car late last year – with the owners Anthony Jannarelly and Frederic Juillot now looking to deliver some juicy technical details. The Design-1 is a retro-styled spider that will have motivation provided by the 3.5-liter V6 naturally aspirated engine that is said to deliver 304 horsepower and 274 pound-feet of torque. The rear wheel drive design will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission and all driving errors might be swayed by the limited slip differential. The automaker says estimated 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) times will range around four seconds and the maximum speed should be of 135 mph (217 km/h).
The roadster is also said to tip the scales at just 1,565-pounds (710 kg) and will make use of a double wishbone suspension setup with adjustable dampers, lightweight carbon fiber body parts as well as ventilated discs with four-piston calipers up front. Deliveries of the brand new Design-1 will begin in summer of 2016 with Jannarelly offering a Special Launching Edition starting at $55,000 – 10 percent paid at the booking, 40 percent when the model’s production starts and the rest upon delivery.
