MINI has officially introduced a new special edition of the Cooper S, the JERMYN, across the Japanese market.
The brand new MINI Cooper S JERMYN is now getting ready to arrive to its future customers as the carmaker has officially launched it in Japan. The name of the supermini hot hatch is coming from the Jermyn Street in the Mayfair district of London and the special edition has been based, obviously, on the Cooper S, bringing some improvements over the standard model.
“Limited car MINI Jermyn is derived from as Jermyn Street in the Mayfair district of London is the origin of the MINI. Here, as has been said that all of the grooming of the English gentleman are aligned, well-established store and well-established that inherits the London fashion of tradition, are equipped with high-end select items”, says the automaker in its press release.
The new MINI Cooper S JERMYN is bringing a unique Lapis Luxury Blue exterior finish, 18-inch alloy wheels, unique leather seats in the cabin, the Union Jack inspired headrests, the heated front seats, Nappa leather wrapped steering wheels, dark cottonwood trim and so on. The model is also getting the chrome line exterior, chrome line interior, multifunction steering wheel, sports automatic transmission with paddle shifters, cruise control, MINI Driving mode, MINI excitement package, rain sensor, light package, storage compartment package, LED door projector, color line satellite grey and several other goodies. The vehicle will become available in just 180 units and it will be offered in three- and five-door body styles.
