The order books for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition have been opened in Japan.
Mitsubishi has officially unveiled the Lancer Evolution Final Edition back in December 2014 and now the model is coming back with the announcement that the order books for it have been opened on its local home market. According to the car manufacturer, the model in question has been priced at 4, 298,400 yen, which is the equivalent of 33,900 euros at the current exchange rates, and if you are looking to add such a ride to your garage, you should hurry up because only 1,000 units will see daylight.
The new Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition has been based on the 5MP GSR five-speed manual and this is an anniversary model which will say “goodbye” to the performance sedan, as the company has no plans of offering a successor at this time. The vehicle is coming with the “Final Edition” badge, with a plaque telling you which number this is, 18-inch wheels signed by BBS, Brembo high-performance brakes, Recaro seats, black leather with red stitching and much more. If the concept car came with an impressive 473 HP from the 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, the production version isn’t that powerful as it has 291 HP and 406 Nm of torque, in the standard form, but the special edition is said to get more than 300 HP. The exact performance figures are not known at this time but will probably be announced soon.
