Japan: Subaru readies three concepts for the Tokyo Auto Salon image

Not to be mistaken with the internationally renowned Tokyo Motor Show that takes place in the fall, January’s Tokyo Auto Salon is a tuning and specialty-equipment oriented event.

Still, Subaru treats it with the proper diligence, getting ready to unveil three new concepts. The first, the Legacy B4 Blitzen concept will come in a Premium Red finish and with a rear spoiler that “evokes powerful driving performance.” It also has a premium interior finish, beige leather, piano black trim and body color accents. Next up are the XV Sport Concept and Levorg S Concept that got a complete tuning makeover from Subaru Tecnica International Inc.

The XV Sport comes with a vivid “Sunrise Yellow” color scheme, coupled with a lower ride height and yellow striped spoilers that contrast with the black colored grille and wheels. The all-black interior has matching yellow stitches. The Levorg S Concept is, according to Subaru, the embodiment of the “S series”, with the STI tuned flagship seen in its “Sports Tourer” styling. STI opted to modify a wide range of parts, such as the intake and exhaust, 6 speed manual transmission and the 2.0-liter Horizontally-Opposed direct injection turbo “DIT” engine – all coming next to the usual chassis and body performance enhancements.
