Famous petrol head Jay Leno has arrived this weekend at the Supercar Sunday in his brand new ride, the yellow McLaren P1.

Jay Leno has managed to turn some heads this weekend as he arrived at the Supercar Sunday in his newest addition, the impressive McLaren P1. The famous American petrol head has taken delivery of his limited edition “beast” just last week and he is already enjoying driving it and meeting with other supercar fanatics. Jay Leno may have made a wonderful choice when ordering his newest ride but we do have to admit that stepping out of it doesn’t look too dignifying.

The final production version of the McLaren P1 has been officially unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and it’s currently being assembled, in just 375 units, in Woking, Surrey, England. This is the company’s first ever hybrid supercar and it has a two-door coupe body and a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout. Power is provided by a 3.8L twin turbo V8, backed up by an electric motor. The total output produced is 903 HP and 978 Nm of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is made in 2.8 seconds and top speed has been electronically limited to 350 km/h (217 mph).
