A JD Power customer satisfaction survey named Jaguar the number one manufacturer.
The annual survey is based on 18,000 participants’ opinions and assesses the customers’ satisfaction based on design, comfort, performance, reliability, quality, dealership satisfaction and cost of ownership. The JD Power customer satisfaction survey is considered the most reliable study of this kind. In 2011 Jaguar was ranked on the third place, so the results show an amazing improvement for the company. Jaguar’s XF won the Executive Car of the Year title.
Speaking on the award, Jeremy Hicks, Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover UK, said: “to be awarded the Number One spot by JD Power is a huge honor – not only for the staff of the 90 Jaguar dealers in the UK but for the 2,000 employees at the Castle Bromwich factory and the talented designers and engineers based in Warwickshire whose determination, attention to detail and commitment to quality have delivered this result.”
It seems that Jaguar’s good fortune goes on, with the company planning a 56% sales increase and the introduction of two new models, the XF Sportbrake and the all new F-Type sports car, expected to hit the market in this summer and the summer of 2013 respectively.
