Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 was launched in Romania
Jeep has recently announced the launch of the Grand Cherokee SRT8 in Romania where the model is now available to its future customers from 76,000 euros, VAT included.
After being launched in several markets already, time has come for the North American based brand, Jeep, to announce the arrival of the powerful Gran Cherokee SRT8 to Romania too. According to the car manufacturer, the model is available from 76,000 euros, VAT included, in the Eastern European country. The model is going against models like the BMW X5M or the brand new Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG, which are favored over the North American vehicle.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is powered by a 6,417 cc HEMI V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 468 HP and it has a peak torque of 624 Nm, available at 4,100 rpm. The unit is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission, which is allowing the 2,418 kg vehicle to accelerate up to a top speed of 257 km/h. The 93 liters fuel tank is allowing the HEMI V8 to drink enough for several hundred kilometers considering its fuel consumption of 14.1 / 10.1 / 20.9 in average / highway / city.
