Jeep has recently announced its lineup for the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show, where the public will be able to see the new Grand Cherokee SRT8, the Grand Cherokee, Wrangler Unlimited, Compass, Cherokee and the Wrangler Arctic.
According to Jeep, the Grand Cherokee SRT8 is powered by the new 6.4 liter HEMI V8 engine which is developing a total output of 470 horsepower. The new Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 will feature an exclusive Red exterior color and Black leather interior, being the most powerful and high-speed Jeep model ever produced. The new SRT8 is expected to be introduced on the Italian auto market in the first quarter of 2012.
The Jeep Wrangler Arctic will be showcased in an exclusive Winter Chill exterior color with black Tectonic interior, featuring 17 inch wheels, body-colored hard top, Mopar accessories and the 2.8 liter turbo diesel engine. The Jeep Wrangler Arctic will also go on sale in Italy in the first quarter of 2012.
Besides these two models, Jeep will also present the Grand Cherokee, in the Overland trim line with Stone White Exterior and Nappa leather Black interior and the 3.0 liter V6 turbo diesel engine generating 241 HP with Multijet II technology. The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with its new 2.8 liter turbo diesel engine developing 200 HP will also be revealed at the Bologna Motor Show, along with the Compass in the four-wheel drive configuration with the 2.2 liter turbo diesel engine.
