The first renderings with the three-door version of the recently unveiled Jeep Renegade have hit the web and they are offering us a first preview into a possible future body style of this model.
The brand new Jeep Renegade has been officially presented to the public in a world premiere just last week, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, and now, the model in question is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a few renderings, signed by Theophilus Chin, which are showing the model in a 3-door body style. Some reports are already stating that this version of the Renegade might hit the market, but there is nothing official just yet.
The 2015 Jeep Renegade is the company’s smallest model and this has been inspired by the Wrangler, coming with a military boxy shape, a 7-slot vertical front grille, 17-inch wheels and a high ground clearance. The Renegade is riding on the Fiat 500L’s platform and it has four disc brakes, a Selec-Terrain system, MacPherson struts at the front and Chapman struts in the rear and an open-air roof panel, called My Sky. 16 powertrain combinations will be available for the Renegade, which will include four MultiAir gasoline engines, two MultiJet II diesel burners and a flex-fuel E-torQ.
