The first rendering with the newly unveiled Jeep Renegade, shown in an SRT version, has recently hit the web and it might provide us with a first look into the future version of the model.
Ever since Nissan has opened the “B-segment” for crossover with the Juke, just a few years ago, most carmakers have went wild and they have created their very own small crossovers, like the Peugeot with its 2008, Renault with the Captur, Opel / Vauxhall with the Mokka, Ford with the EcoSport or Chevrolet with the Trax and now time has come for Jeep to have such a model too, the Renegade. The image posted above is a rendering, signed by X-Tomi Design, which is showing the new Jeep Renegade in an SRT version.
The 2015 Jeep Renegade has been officially introduced just last week and it’s the company’s smallest model. The vehicle has been inspired by the Wrangler and it has a military boxy shape, a high ground clearance, 17-inch wheels and 7-slot vertical front grille. This is riding on the same platform as the Fiat 500L and it has received a Selec-Terrain system, MultiAir gasoline engines, MultiJet II diesel burners and a flex-fuel E-torQ.
