The new generation of the Jeep Compass will make its way onto the market next year as the Chrysler Group’s brand has recently announced.
The Jeep brand is more careful with its models since it’s available in Europe under Fiat, where customers want more from their cars than Americans and a new model to make its way into the company’s lineup will be the future generation of the Compass. According to the North American based automaker, the new generation of the Jeep Compass will make its way onto the market in 2013 and the crossover is expected to get new design lines which will bring a fresh look to the boxy shape of the model.
The Jeep designers will be left to draw freely the new design of the Compass which will have to comply with demands coming from different markets, adapted to the part of the globe where they will be sold. The engine lineup will include small diesel units which are aimed towards the Old Continent. Besides the future generation of the Compass, the Patriot will also be updated, and the model will receive a facelift. The Jeep Liberty is a new model which will enter the automaker’s lineup soon. More details on these vehicles will be announced close to their debut.
