Jeep Wrangler Mountain Special Edition going to Geneva image

Jeep has recently announced that the Wrangler Mountain Special Edition will be officially presented to the public at the upcoming 2012 Geneva Motor Show in March.

After the North American based automaker Jeep has revealed the Compass Concept and the Grand Cherokee Concept which will make their debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show next month, and will catch or miss the production line depending on how will the audience receive them, the company has decided to present us with a special edition of the Jeep Wrangler, which will be named the Mountain, and it will also be officially presented at the same European automotive event.

The Jeep Wrangler Mountain Special Edition has been designed in order to stand out of the crowd, as the company admits, and it’s coming with a Mineral Gray grille, hood decals, a black fuel-filler door, side steps and some 17-inch alloy wheels. Changes to the cabin are limited and the popular model will come with mountain logos embroidered in the fabric seats.

Under the hood, the Jeep Wrangler Mountain Special Edition is available with a choice of two engines, the 2.8 liter turbo diesel unit, which is generating a total output of 197 HP and it has a peak torque of 460 Nm (339 lb-ft), and the 3.6 liter V6, which is coming with 280 HP and 347 Nm of torque.
