Jeep has recently announced the arrival of the Wrangler Overland luxury-spec in Australia where the model can be bought from $42,500.
According to the North American based automaker, the Jeep Wrangler Overland is available for its future customers in two body styles, the two-door soft-top Sport and the four-door Unlimited. Prices for the two models start at 42,500 AUD and at 47,000 AUD and they are approximately 9,000 AUD more expensive than the entry-level versions on which they are based.
The Jeep Wrangler Overland edition is coming with body colored arches, with automatic headlights, enhanced infotainment system with sat-nav, rear-view camera, leather upholstery, heated front seats, bright trim accents and 18-inch polished alloy wheels. These updates will help the model stand out in a crowd. Power to the Jeep Wrangler Overland edition is being provided, in both body styles, by the company’s 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 petrol engine, which is producing a total output of 209 kW and a peak torque of 347 Nm. The unit is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. The Jeep Wrangler Overland special edition will arrive in showrooms across Australia in early 2013.
