Jeep Wrangler Polar Edition announced for the U.S. image

Jeep has recently announced its plans to introduce the new Wrangler Polar Edition in the United States, where it will go on sale in November.

After making its public debut more than a month ago, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Jeep Wrangler Polar Edition is being placed into the spotlights once more, this time with the help of the company which has announced its launch in the United States. The model in question should arrive on the over-seas market as a two-door and as a four-door model sometimes next month.

The Jeep Wrangler Polar Edition can easily stand out from a crowd thanks to its different front grille, mountain-inspired graphics, powerdome hood, 18-inch alloy wheels, special badging and some other tweaks. The cabin of the model has received heated leather seats with Pearl White contrast stitching, embroidered backrest, leather wrapped steering wheel, Mopar slush mats and Ceramic White trim.

Power to the new Jeep Wrangler Polar Edition is being provided by a 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 engine, which is producing a total output of 285 HP (212 kW) and 352 Nm (260 lb-ft) of torque. The unit can be mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission, which is available as an option. Pricing details will be announced during its launch.
