Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Rocks Star shown ahead of Geneva debut image

The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Rocks Star has been officially unveiled ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, on the 3rd of March.

Jeep is on a wave these days and after pulling the wraps off the Renegade Hard Steel Concept recently, time has come for the North American based automaker to introduce the Rubicon Rocks Star. The model in question will also be making its public debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, along with the above mentioned one-off vehicle and the Wrangler Black Edition II and this is a special edition Wrangler packed with Mopar accessories.

“The spotlight is also trained on the second Jeep Wrangler on display that is equipped with original Mopar accessories. This is the Rocks Star show car born on the Rubicon version – equipped with a 2.8 liter turbodiesel engine with five-speed automatic transmission and 4 wheel drive”, says the carmaker in its official press release.

The new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Rocks Star has a Baja yellow paint on its body, black satin US Army star on the hood, a black finish for the fuel cap and for the grille, half doors, skid plate, a soft top, star sticker, black running board and the all-terrain Goodrich tires. In the can we can notice the body colored moldings, the rubber mats, the Roll Bar handles and so on. Under its hood it has a 2.8L turbo diesel unit connected to a 5-speed automatic transmission, sending power to both axles. More details on it will be announced in Geneva.
