Jeep has announced the introduction of the Wrangler X in Australia as the model in question is currently available for order.

The brand new Jeep Wrangler X is currently available for order in Australia. The model in question has been based on the high-spec Wrangler Overland and it is coming in either two- or four-door versions, bringing some interesting features such as the Power Dome bonnet with the functional air vents, the body colored fender flares and grille, a body colored three-piece hard top, glossy black headlight rings and grille highlights, some decals, the Mopar black fuel filler cover and so on.

The cabin of the brand new Jeep Wrangler X is also packing the McKinley black leather, the vinyl trimmed seats, contrasting grey stitching, leather wrapped steering wheel with white switch bezels, X logos, the white accents, the all-weather floor mats made by Mopar, the automatic climate control, the 6.5-inch touch screen multimedia entertainment system with satellite navigation system, a DVD player, rear-view camera and a 40GB hard disk, heated front seats and more.

The Jeep Wrangler X is only available with the 3.6 liter V6 petrol engine under its hood, which is producing a total output of 209 kW and 347 Nm of torque, connected to a 5-speed automatic transmission. The average fuel consumption figure stands at 11.3 liters every 100 km. Prices for the two-door start from 47,000 AUD, plus on-road costs, while the four-door is available from 51,000 AUD, plus on-road costs. Only 70 units of the vehicle have been allocated for the Pacific country.
