A monster with killer look is here. At the 2011 Tokyo Auto Salon event held in January, a car was unveiled which was built off of a 2000 Nissan Silvia. The new Lightning Strikes Racing Edition has now received far better performance specs along with attractive looks.
A bright blue exterior paint job, a stunning widebody kit, and a monstrous power upgrade are the major additions to the car. It is the original Nissan Silvia that has received more power from a SR20DET engine that produces 250 horsepower.
JUM Lightning who has tuned this Lightning Strikes Racing Edition has played well under the hood to offer more 180 horsepower from the similar engine. So what do we call it – a magic instead. Overall, the engine propels a total 430 hp at 7000 rpm and 398 lb-ft of torque at 5800 rpm. A 6-speed gearbox from Nismo GT-LSD has given a final touch to the engine.
Apart from the magic offered to the interior of the car, JUM Lightening has also played well with the exterior. Matching the aggression of the engine, the tuner has added a widebody kit and an Aragosta Suspension System, exclusively tuned for the FUJI Speedway.
This makes the car a complete monster from interior as well as exterior. The kit is made up of dry carbon fiber so that it could support large forces. It also comprises of a front bumper, a flow rate mounted on the bonnet, side bumper, and a new set of wheels.
JUM Lightening gave a final touch to the car by adding a full titan exhaust manifold, Brembo brakes, and Sparco seats.
