The South Korean based automaker Kia has recently pulled the wraps off the Justice League-themed Sorento, which was developed in collaboration with DC Entertainment.
The brand new Kia Sorento Justice League represents the eighth and final custom vehicle with the Justice League theme on it and the model has been designed by DC Entertainment co-publisher, Jim Lee. The model in question has been showcased at the opening of the San Diego Comic-Con and it has joined the other seven vehicles at the Interactive Zone at Petco Park.
“Our goal in 2013 was to bring our fans and the JUSTICE LEAGUE Super Heroes together in unique ways to fight the hunger crisis in the Horn of Africa. That effort started with the once-in-a-lifetime opportunities we’ve been able to offer through our crowdfunding campaigns that have raised over $285, 000 to-date. Now, through these tremendous partnerships with Kia and eBay, the auction will take the offerings to a whole new level with a truly one-of-a-kind, and fully driveable, CUV customized by Jim Lee”, said Diane Nelson, the DCE President.
The new Kia Sorento Justice League is part of the “We Can Be Heroes” campaign and it will be auctioned for charity on eBay. The auction will being on the 27th of July and the funds raised will be donated to help the people in the Horn of Africa.
