Kawasaki D-Tracker 150 launched in Malaysia

The Malaysian division of Kawasaki has recently announced that the D-Tracker 150 has been launched on the local auto market, where the bike has a starting price of RM9,689 without registration and insurance.

According to the manufacturer, the Kawasaki D-Tracker 150 has been billed as a dual sport bike which has been specially tuned in order to develop off-road excitement and on-road fun. The Kawasaki D-Tracker 150 is coming with a high tensile steel perimeter frame which is enabling solid handling in just about any conditions, along with an up-side-down fork suspension or 35 mm inverted cartridge style front telescopic fork for more comfort and an improved stability. The D-Tracker 150 is also coming with a five-step adjustable Uni-trak swingarm, which is offering progressive handling feedback forimproved balance and control at just about any speed.

Kawasaki says that the D-tracker is powered by a 144 cc, four-stroke SOHC engine, which is developing a total output of 11.7 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and it has a peak torque of 12 Nm available from 6,500 rpm. The D-Tracker is being stopped by two brake discs with one piston and the model has been fitted with kick-start and electric ignition for added convenience. The price of the Kawasaki D-Tracker 150 has been set at RM9,689 without registration and insurance.
