On April 5th, at the 2012 Brand Image Awards, Kelley Blue Book offered 12 awards to most popular brands.
Kelley Blue Book is known as the United States’ largest automotive vehicle valuation company and the leading provider of new and used vehicle information. This year KBB offered 12 awards after collecting data from over 12,000 new-car shoppers as part of its own in-house Brand Watch study. The consumers were the ones that gave insight on the way shoppers view brands, ranking them on factors like family-friendliness, value, design, and prestige.
“Car shoppers should take the time to compare vehicles on their consideration lists to fully understand the financial implications involved with cost of ownership,” said Juan Flores, director of vehicle valuation for Kelley Blue Book. “While a vehicle might be less expensive up front, the cost of fuel for that model, insurance and other expenditures could make it the less appealing choice for their wallet in the long run.”
