Kia has officially introduced the Cee’d GT in the United Kingdom, where the model in question is now available for order from 20,495 GBP.
Originally introduced back in 2013, the first ever five-door hot hatch signed by Kia, the Cee’d GT, is now available for order in the United Kingdom too, where the model in question is now available for order from 20,495 GBP. According to the local automotive media, the five-door Cee’d GT is 500 GBP more expensive than the already available three-door Pro Cee’d GT.
The Kia Cee’d GT is not the most powerful in its class and it’s coming in exactly the same configuration as its three-door brother. The model in question is powered by a 1.6 liter GDi turbocharged engine, which is producing a total output of 204 HP (150 kW) and it has a peak torque of 265 Nm (195 lb-ft). The unit is mated to a six-speed manual transmission, which is allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just over 7.7 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 230 km/h (143 mph). The average fuel consumption in the model stands at over 7.0 liters every 100 km (38.1 mpg UK / 31.7 mpg US).
