Kia Cerato was launched in Malaysia image

The South Korean based automaker Kia has recently announced the launch of the new Cerato in Malaysia, where the model will set you back for RM99, 888, on the road with insurance.

According to the car manufacturer, the new Kia Cerato is now being offered, in Malaysia, with a list of standard features including the dual zone climate control with rear air vents and cluster ionizer, auto demister, park assist, keyless entry, keyless go, rearview camera, door mirror welcome lamps, fog lamps and 60:40 split folding back seats, amongst others. The safety features found on the new Kia Cerato include the BA, TCS, ESC, VSM, ISOFIX, front, side and curtain airbags and much more.

As for the engine lineup, the new Kia Cerato is available with a choice of two units, the 1.6 liter Gamma II MPI dual-CVVT, producing a total output of 130 PS and 157 Nm of torque, burning 6.8 L / 100 km of fuel in an average cycle, and the 2.0 liter Nu MPI with its 161 PS and 194 Nm, returning 7.0 L / 100 km. Both units are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Prices for the 1.6 have been set at RM99,888 and for the 2.0 at RM118,888.
