The South Korean based automaker Kia might put the GT and the GT4 Stinger Concepts into production.
Kia might be enlightening its fans with two brand new models which should be based on the GT and on the GT4 Stinger concept cars. The announcement hasn’t been made official just yet, but according to the British automotive media, the company is seriously considering production versions of the models mentioned above. As you probably remember, the Kia GT Concept has been officially unveiled three years ago, during the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, and it came with the 3.3L V6 turbo engine, rated at 395 HP (290 kW) and 534 Nm (394 lb-ft) of torque.
The model in question might become the carmaker’s flagship and it should get an 8-speed automatic transmission connected to the rear-wheel drive. Besides the GT, Kia might also put the GT4 Stinger concept into production too, which has been unveiled during the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), in Detroit. This is also a RWD vehicle, but with a smaller 320 HP (235 kW) 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine under its hood. More details on the two models are limited for the moment and will be announced once the company will confirm them, officially.
