The South Korean based automaker Kia has apparently approved the impressive GT Concept for production, as the model in question should be introduced in the near future.
After being officially presented to the public, in a premiere, back in 2011, during the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Kia GT Concept is being highlighted once more, this time with the help of a report, which is saying that the model in question has been approved for production. According to the guys form Edmunds, citing unnamed executives, the vehicle will be a four-door fastback which will go on sale across the United States by the end of 2016.
The final production version of the Kia GT Concept will become a competitor for the Audi A7 and even if its engine lineup is currently unknown for the moment, chances are that we will get to see a 3.3 liter V6 turbocharged unit under its hood. On the Old Continent, we might get a diesel engine too.
