New renderings with the Kia GT4 are showing us how the model may look like in its final production form, when it will go against the Toyota GT86.
The Kia GT4 Stinger may have been introduced quite some time ago but instant rumors popping up all over the time are telling us that this might be put into production. Judging by the success of the Toyota GT86 and the fact that this is a front-engine and rear-wheel drive vehicle, we can dare to say that it will become a rival for the Japanese sports car, once the company will finally decide to give it the green light.
Unlike the concept car, shown in Frankfurt, three years ago, which used to pack a 3.3 liter V6 turbo engine, with 395 HP (290 kW) and 534 Nm (394 lb-ft) of torque, the final production variant of the GT4 is believed to get a smaller unit under its hood, but which will still produce more than the 200 HP found on the GT86, on the BRZ or on the FR-S. The output produced is said to stand in the 300 HP zone and it might be squeezed from a 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine.
