Kia Optima SX Limited revealed at Chicago Auto Show image

The South Korean based automaker Kia has introduced the Optima SX Limited at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show.

After being teased for a while in the company’s Super Bowl commercial, the Kia Optima SX Limited has been finally presented to the public and the 2012 Chicago Auto Show has been chosen for the “event”. According to the car manufacturer, the Kia Optima SX Limited is coming with LED daytime running lights, some 18 inch alloy wheels, additional chrome trim, red brake calipers, Nappa leather for the seats, new headliner, wood trim, panoramic sunroof, heated and cooled front seats, navigation system, rear view camera and illuminated scuff.

“The Optima SX Limited was introduced to the world in our ‘Drive the Dream’ Super Bowl commercial and now visitors to the Chicago Auto Show will experience it firsthand. The Limited delivers upscale features and premium materials that discerning midsize sedan customers are not able to find in many of our competitors”, said the vice president of marketing and communications in Kia Motors, Michael Sprague.

The new Kia Optima SX Limited will be powered by a 2.0 liter turbocharged engine, which is developing a total output of 274 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 269 lb-ft (364 nm). The model is expected to hit the United States dealerships in March and the starting price has been set at $34.900.
